The Teamhouse was set up by the Johnson Family during 2004 which also happened to be their first year in full-time ministry.  They came to South Africa in support of King of Kings Baptist Centre and the associated Living Hope Community Centres. (www.livinghope.co.za)
 
They found and secured a long-term lease on the home from a fellow church member as their personal residence with the idea of hosting visiting missionary teams from America and around the world coming to do missions work in Cape Town or having Cape Town as one of the teams stops on the way to or from other parts of Africa.  This is a home full of the Love of Christ and run on Christian values and principles.  As our home, and because we are good neighbors, we require that all guests are on their best behaviour during their stay in our neighborhood.  If you want a place to be excessively loud, or to do anything which might be dishonoring to our Lord and Saviour Jesus, then please find another accommodation for your time in Cape Town.  We are an up-market, full-service, home with chef and domestic help on sight daily.  The beach is literally less than 10 steps away and once on the main part of the beach you can be as loud as you want.
The Team House can accommodate up to 30 persons on the main 2 floors, while staff live in the flats on the garage level.  There are 10 bedrooms upstairs with two of these being dorm rooms and 6 containing en-suite bathrooms.  There are 8.5 baths on the main 2 floors of the house.
 
The concept of hosting mission teams, with a few film crews thrown in,  worked amazingly well during 2004 and there are many teams already booked for ensuing years.  Jay and the family will be dividing time between America and their South African residence and therefore The Team House has become the premier holiday accommodation on Noordhoek Beach just south of Cape Town in between the mission teams.
 
The Team House can only be rented as an entire accommodation and rooms are not for rent.  We provide a chef, if you would like, to prepare your food.  You choose from his menus or provide him with menus of your own and he will purchase the food and prepare it for you.  The cost of our chef is our treat, but the cost of the food will be added to your bill.  Our kitchen is unfortunately not open for self-catering.  We also provide domestic staff for cleaning, etc.  We are not a hotel or a B&B, but more the perfect place for wedding parties, business retreats, film crews and film shoots, international sport tours, family reunions or other large family gatherings, etc. when we don't have mission teams in town.
